Last weekend we headed south to visit family in Iowa and meet our new nephew and cousin Thomas. Beyond meeting baby Thomas, Anna, Claire, and Will went with Grandpa Randy and Grandma Lori and met Thomas the train. They even got to go on a ride!
We arrived Friday night and got to enjoy some snuggles and books with Will!
Bright and early Saturday morning the kids loaded into the car with Grandma and Grandpa.

This picture makes me laugh because there are about 10 of them with Anna sitting, smiling nicely at the camera and Will and Claire are in a variety of poses. This was my favorite, Claire probably distracting Will so she's not the only one who isn't looking at the camera.
Baby Thomas! He was so sweet and cute and tiny! Anna was over the moon excited about holding him. She did a fabulous job and was so sweet to him!
We also go to celebrate Great Grandpa's birthday a little early!
After the Thomas meetings and the birthday celebration, we headed across town to spend time with Grandpa Dave and Grandma Lynn and the rest of the crew! We went out to Uncle James' house and the kids got to enjoy a ride on the 4-wheeler. Anna was very cautious at first, requesting that Uncle James go slow, but then by the second lap around the house she was shouting, "Faster! Faster!" She loved it!
Claire even got to go for a ride. She giggled the whole time; she wasn't scared at all!
Auntie Kate got to give a few rides as well!
We had a great bbq at Uncle James and got to hang out with everyone for the rest of the weekend.
Trips to Iowa are always wonderful, but always go way to fast!
