This fall we have been busy. We have enjoyed having a garden this year and have had many tomatoes, onions and peppers to enjoy. We also have a wonderful friend who has kindly shared with us her wealth of apples. We have picked apples at her house three times already and wow, do we have apples! We have made apple crisp, apple cake, apple muffins, applesauce and of course just enjoyed apples.
The girls have enjoyed helping with the apple projects.
Another project for our fall has been our mudroom. We ripped out the floor early in September and just this past Friday we finished installing the new tile and the new bench built by Brian. It just needs some more coat hooks above the bench and some great art and it will be complete. It's amazingly functional; a HUGE improvement!

We are loving it!
Sunday we headed to a new orchard about 2 miles from our house to get some pumpkins. Anna could not rest until we had selected just the perfect ones!
The girls loved finding pumpkins and checking out the animals at the new orchard.
We are looking forward to carving and painting pumpkins and gearing up for the excitement of October!
