Good start to the weekend!

After a busy week (a good one, but a busy one) we enjoyed a night with our friends in Blaine. Chris, Renee and Nathan had us over for some delicious fish tacos and of course great dessert! This was Anna's first time meeting Nathan (he'll be two in October); she was anxious to make another friend.

Nathan was so cute! He was pretty protective of his bowl of crackers, cheese and grapes. The poor boy was starving! :)
Nathan was really worried that Anna might try and steal his food. He wasn't too into being close to her. But aren't they both just adorable!?

We decided to then head inside and play on the floor.

Anna is wearing the onesie that Renee made for her at the shower before she was born...Renee is a CPA if you couldn't guess that from the onesie.

Nathan LOVED playing with Brian. He started out reading a book with Brian...

Then Brian got more fun and entertained him with a little "Down Low, Too Slow" high fivin'. Nathan just loved it all!

Anytime that Brian would go to the kitchen to chat with Chris, Nathan would run out, grab his hand and bring him back to the family room to play some more.

We all had a great time, great food, great company. It was fun to see Nathan again, he's grown and changed so much since last time. He was really cute when Anna was playing on the floor, any toy that Renee would use to entertain her, Nathan would come by and take back for himself. There may have been a little jealousy...but that's ok. One day they will play together and have a great time!

Today we are off for some bowling and have lots of errands to run. Should be a great weekend. This week Anna and I will spend some time getting ready for her big day, baptism next Sunday! We're very excited to have all of our family here for the event.
