Play land!

Yesterday was our first playdate of the summer and we will have to say it was a HUGE success!  Anna slept in, just like Mommy told her to, on her first day of summer.  At 7:15 the princess woke up and got all ready to go and play with her friend Brecken.  We went to the play structure at a community center nearby and Anna love, love, loved it.  Brecken has been there many times before so he was showing us the ropes.  We didn't get too many pictures because other than in the toddler area, the play structure involved a lot of climbing and a very tall mommy squeezing through very small spaces.  It was a lot of fun and I think Anna could have stayed there all day...they probably would have kicked us out.

Anna climbing the stairs.  The great thing was everything was padded...so even when she attempted to walk down the stairs herself and she fell...she didn't get hurt!
Brecken!
Going down the slide.
Action shot!
Riding on the teeter-totter with Brecken.  Anna's way more excited than he is...he's already done this a few times!
After the play structure fun, we headed back to Brecken's house and his mommy, April, cooked us a delicious lunch.  The kids had a lot of fun playing and both skipped morning naps!  On the way home, Anna was asleep before we even had gone 3 blocks!  She had a great 3 hour afternoon nap.  We'll be heading back to the play structure again VERY soon!

Anna, April, and Brecken...everyone had a good time!

Tonight we are going to the Twin's Game!  Anna has her Twins gear all ready to go!  You better believe there will be more pictures of this excitement!

  1. You got some good pictures Chris! I might just have to post your blog address on my blog as I haven't gotten around to writing it up yet :) What a fun day- Can't wait to get together again! Let me know about the aquarium tickets and if you want Eric to get some for you guys.... They are $10 each (I think they are normally $18 or $20?) and can be used any time.
