SUMMER!

No new pictures today, but brace yourself, Anna and Mommy are officially on summer vacation so there may be pictures every day!  Ok, maybe not everyday, but there will be a greater abundance of pictures for sure!  This weekend we are looking forward to having friends Lindsay and Andy coming to stay with us before they fly out on vacation to Ireland.  We're very excited to have them here, even for a short time! 

Our summer schedule is already starting to fill up and we are going to be busy busy busy! 

Monday's we're going to call our recovery day.  We have a lot of busy weekends this summer so Mondays will be PJ day :)  We'll be able to relax, schedule some playdates, or just do whatever we want. 

Tuesday's is going to be Anna's day to go to Sandra's house and play with the kids.  She'll be able to stay in that routine of daycare and keep familiar with Sandra and the kids there.  Mommy will get the opportunity to go to school and get ready for her new adventures next year in high school math and/or get some house cleaning done so on those other four days we're home together we can just play play play! 

Wednesday we have tot-time for the first three weeks of summer for an hour and a half in the mornings.  Good opportunity to meet new people in the area and for Anna to play with new kids.  Plus our good friends Laura and Oliver are going to come too, so we'll enjoy time with them as well!

Thursday is another fairly open day, but we have already scheduled some playdates with a teacher from school and his daughter Ella.  Ella is exactly 5 months and 1 day younger than Anna.  So there's a bit of a gap, right now, but they will have some fun together.  Ella is starting to pull herself up to things and is very interactive, so they will have a great time.  In a couple years, we won't even notice such an age gap...except for the potential for Anna to be extremely tall and Ella to be rather short.  :-)
Friday will probably be "get ready for the weekend" day.  Like I said earlier, lots of fun weekend plans and traveling, so we'll be getting all packed up and pumped up for some road trips! 

Somewhere in there we also have scheduled some swimming lessons for two weeks in July.  Hopefully Anna doesn't have the same fear of water and lack of swimming ability that her Mommy has!  Could be interesting...

We are very excited to do and see lots of fun things this summer.  We're planning to spend lots of time outside, swimming, playing in the sand, going to the park, taking walks, perhaps visiting the zoo, going to the library, and anything else that sounds like fun!  Let us know if you want a playdate!!  Many pictures to come...
