Summer vacation is winding down...today is the last weekday that Mommy doesn't have to do something related to school...so we are trying to soak up the last minutes of no-schedule, jammies and dress up clothes days, and leisure park play dates with friends. Getting back to school and a routine will be good for everyone, and we can think positively about it all: it's only 9 more months until our next summer vacation...
A few shots from our day yesterday:
Anna got a new puzzle, 48 pieces with princesses of course! With only a little help to get the boarder started, she finished this little puzzle all on her own!
She is very patient and tries the pieces everywhere.
All done! "Mommy, can I do it again?!"
And ClaireBear with bows in her hair!
What a lovely summer it has been. It has gone very quickly and was full of fun...as well as the challenge of adjusting to two kids and going back to the world of infants. I think we've survived the adjustment to two kids and before we know it we are going to have another toddler--I know she's only two months old right now, but at this time next summer she could be walking all over the place! Wow. Time will fly!
This weekend we will enjoy a visit from grandparents and spend some time gathering all the items the girls will need to take to their first day of "school" on Tuesday! Here we go!
