One of Anna's favorite "chores" is to shred papers for mom and dad. The other day, while shredding, it got jammed so Mommy had to take it all apart...in doing so, I created a little mess. We decided we might as well empty the shredder, which makes a little more of a mess...
Then as we were both looking at this bag full of shredded paper and the floor which already had some shredded paper scattered around, I asked Anna if she thought it would be fun to throw some of this paper in the air? She thought that sounded like a wonderful idea and took the task of tosser.
She took her job very seriously...
Wheeeee!
Can we do that again Mom? (Note, I did say that we could only do one toss...but by one, I apparently meant four.)
But it was worth the extreme joy that tossing the paper in the air brought to this happy little three year old.
The aftermath....I was sitting in it and we both had some paper in our hair.
Once I stood up our "little mess" turned into a BIG mess. And I may have jammed the vacuum in the process of cleaning this up...but it was worth it.
