The last week of July was a hot one! We spent much of our time inside as it's not very fun to walk around with a baby strapped in the Bjorn while you sweat and she sweats even more and everyone is uncomfortable! Here are some pictures of our at home adventures over the past couple weeks.
This is a typical view in the morning this summer. Claire wakes up at 6:00ish, she eats and then sleeps in Mommy and Daddy's bed, waiting excitedly for her sister to come join her as well. Eventually both Mommy and Daddy are kicked out and these two take over.

Daddy signed up to bring a dessert for his boss's birthday, so Mommy and Anna took on the task of making a golf cake. Anna helped with frosting...on crackers.

This is a random picture of Anna after a swimming adventure at our friend's house. She was so tired, she had to crawl up the stairs from the garage and then laid on the floor and slept just inside the door for about an hour. (Please excuse our messy mud room--this is the room in the house that is still not quite organized.)
Speaking of falling asleep in weird positions...Claire fell asleep while burping.

Claire. Claire has a lot of hair. It's wild hair. And it kind of resembles the Dr. Seuss character you see here--the yottle from the bottle.
