Nukless Night #3

Hopefully this is the last night of giving an update...things went better tonight.  There was still a little fussing, but just about 10 minutes and she was out.  I think we're on our way!

Today Anna had her 1 year doctors appointment and shots...here are here stats:

Weight:  25 pounds, 4 ounces (above 95th percentile)
Height:  32 inches (WAY above 95th percentile)

She checked out well.  The doctor said at her 15 month appointment we'll start talking about potty training...now that's getting really crazy!

Just got some pictures uploaded from the picnic we had Sunday night after Anna's birthday with G & G F down by Lake Calhoun.

The crew picnicking!

Sharing with Grandpa.
Walking to the water with mommy (this was not Lake Calhoun).
Anna loves to have both of us hold her hands and swing her...sometimes while walking she just drops her body and hangs by her arms, wanting us to swing her.
Trying to get a family picture, but Anna wants to swing...

On Wednesday night Anna and I drove up to our friend Quarve's to check out her mom's (Grandma Jan) garage sale.  Anna sure found some treasures...
She also found this great hat.
She's a magician!
Wandering around the yard with her egg necklaces...
Then we went to the park and Anna enjoyed the swings and the teeter-totter.
Fun with Quarve!
And loving to totter with Mommy too!

We're going to get one year pictures done this weekend and then enjoying a nice quiet weekend at home.  Resting...with out our Nuk. :)

  1. Okay...your child is HUGE!!!!!! Not in a bad way, I am just used to 10th percentile and we aren't looking at 25 pounds or even 30 inches for a long time!!!!!! I feel like she is a 2 year old...and potty training, what?!?!?! She is only 2 months older than Kallie but I feel like she is years older.
I love the blog picture of her with her sunglasses!

  2. POTTY TRAINING?!?!?! What??? Don't get me wrong, just the thought excites me, but SERIOUSLY?? Aren't they too young? Crazy.... Brecken is already up to 25 pounds, so who knows what he will be at his year check-up! Maybe we'll go on an empty stomach to try and ensure he doesn't get up to 26! Ha! I love the pictures of Anna's garage sale finds- Too funny! Enjoy your relaxing weekend and I can't wait to see the year photos :)
