Oops!

I believe in my last post I mentioned something about how helpful Anna has been lately.  And I really mean that.  Tonight she was helping put laundry in the basket and has been putting all the tupperware away that she gets out when she's asked to...very helpful.  However, while she is very helpful at cleaning up messes, she's also very helpful at causing them.  You'll see in the pictures below that she has toys all over her room...but there is something else, if you look really close...

Let me explain how this one happened:  Anna has a little bit of diaper rash going on right now.  It happens every time she is getting a tooth, along with her little bit of runny nose.  Well, at night time we really like to make sure we get her behind all ready for a long night in a diaper.  Our typical routine is A & D ointment, Target Brand diaper cream, and finally a little corn starch.  The corn starch was a suggestion from someone WAY back when Anna was tiny and it does a great job to pull away moisture so her bum can heal.  Well, usually Anna loves to play with the ointment tubes and has even learned to open them.  She had never shown any interest in playing with the box that doesn't seal of corn starch.  So tonight, in the blink of an eye, she grabbed the box and before I knew it, she had dumped it all over her head.  It was awesome.  I laughed, Brian laughed, Brian ran to get the camera, I laughed some more, Anna licked it from her lips...it was hysterical.  We made her endure a couple quick pictures before we cleaned her up, put on her jammies and put her to bed.  And she was tired, so yes, I have a little pile of corn starch sitting on the floor of her room that will need to be cleaned up ASAP in the morning.  For now, we're enjoying her sleeping and these hilarious to us pictures.  :)
