Stacy and Irving's Wedding Weekend

This past weekend was wedding number 2 for the past two weeks and of course it was a fun and beautiful one!  On Friday night we traveled to Waverly to visit our friends Lindsay and Andy (pictures of that evening to come...) and then Saturday it was on to Dubuque for the wedding.  I was not a good mom, however, and did not take a single picture with my camera all day Saturday or Sunday.  I'm not sure what I was thinking, but Grandma S sent us a few from her camera to document the excitement.

Anna in her pretty dress, ready for the wedding.  Note the blankie...this is a new development.  On Saturday when we got to Dubuque, Anna didn't want to leave the car without her blanket.  This is not her normal behavior, she has never been a blankie girl, but we think after all the traveling and new places, this was her security.  We're curious to see if it's something that sticks or if it was just a one day thing.
Diving into her cupcake...BEFORE her dinner even arrived.  She was hungry!
Yum!
With the beautiful bride.  Anna looks less than thrilled, mostly because she was exhausted, and all she wanted to do was run around and ride up and down on the escalators outside.  She was a wild girl!
Flying with Grandpa S.
It was a really fun weekend, a beautiful wedding ceremony, a fun reception and fun family of course.

We stayed at the Grand Harbor which has a water park attached so on Sunday morning after our breakfast we went to the water park for about an hour.  Anna had fun...she was a little unsure of all the noise and kids and lots of water spraying from many different directions, but she enjoyed herself.  We didn't get any pictures of this either, though, because it's a lot of work to keep track of her in the water park, without adding picture taking to the mix too.  In a few years when she's older, we'll definitely be hitting up some water parks and I'm sure we'll get plenty of pictures then!
