After the craziness of our sicknesses over Christmas, Anna still had a runny nose and gooey eyes this morning and the nurse said if it wasn't done in three days to call. So I called, took her in and it turns out Anna has an ear infection and eye infections. This is her first sickness beyond just a common cold. Poor little peanut. She really doesn't seem too bothered by it all and took her meds very well already this morning. She's very much still normal and playing and happy and sleeping well and eating well...other than the runny nose you wouldn't know she was sick.
While at the doctor, of course they weighed her...she now weighs in at 21 pounds, 2 ounces (fully clothed). She's a growing girl. When the doctor tried to look in her ears she wanted nothing to do with it, and the poor doctor had a really hard time holding her head still so she could see in. She commented that she's very strong for her age. I agreed...she's our little brute:)
No pictures today, but I'm sure there will be some in the coming days. We are going to stay home and rest today and tomorrow, hopefully Anna will get all cleared up and then we had a lunch date on Wednesday if she's still doing well. Then Friday G & G F are heading north to have our belated Christmas celebration! I love Christmas break and not having to go to work :)
