We're all in trouble...

...because Anna is officially mobile. Her crawl isn't perfect, and it started out as more of a worm, but over the past few days she's become rather quick. Much quicker than we were used to. This has caused her to be a little more of a stinker :) We have had a few incidents already this weekend that have helped us to officially "baby proof"!

Anna is also very much into eating. She loves it. It's her favorite time of day! Some of her new favorites include cheese, bits of grape, and of course her Puffs. These things are great. She gets really excited when you shake the container (much like our kitties do when they get treats) and has even been working on putting them in her mouth on her own. Here's some pictures of her practicing:
Ok, so maybe that wasn't her practicing...but the great thing about Puffs is that once they have come in contact with her drool, they stick to everything. Anna often gets them stuck to her cheek when she misses her mouth...so we tried to see how many we could get on her face.
Four...
Five!
She's such a good sport for our entertainment purposes! :)
This is the part where we had an incident...I was washing dishes and Daddy was going through the paper. We were both keeping an eye on Anna while she played with the magnets on the fridge. Apparently she had planned a covert operation while we both had our heads turned for 10 seconds. Quick roll to the left, spin around, and bingo--CAT FOOD! She was about 2 seconds away from getting a hand full of food when we snatched her up off the ground. There was just enough time to get this picture! Evidence. As you can see she dumped the water out on her way to the food. Needless to say the food has been relocated to a place that is not a direct "play zone." Although, I'm sure soon enough she'll find it again.

And here is a series of pictures showing our next incident of the weekend...
I think I feel something interesting in this pot-of-fun...
Yep, I see rocks! FUN!
Mom's watching, but I'm going to do it anyway...
Yes, she managed to pull herself up and stand so she could reach the rocks.
I'm cute, how can you tell me no?

Well, after this weekend we have realized a few things...

We are no longer the parents of an infant.

We now have to be on our toes at all times.

She can move like the speed of light.
