Anna is in bed, anxiously awaiting Christmas morning. She had a very busy day today, watching daddy shovel lots and lots of snow...
Since it wasn't too cold out, she went out and laid in the snow and gave directions to daddy...
After her bath, she put on her first Christmas dress to open up her presents that came in the mail from Aunt Amy and Uncle Jason. She was super excited!
She got this adorable onesie with her name on it and ballet socks! Very girly :) Daddy wasn't so sure about all this dance stuff...
Then she spent a little time chasing Lola. Anna not only is a master crawler, but getting really quick at pulling herself up on EVERYTHING! Sometimes she forgets she can't walk and just turns away from whatever she pulled herself up to and tries to go for it. I think we are entering a time of many bumps and bruises!
Then Anna got dressed for church. She was going to wear her first Christmas dress seen earlier, but it was a little too cool out and she just didn't have any shoes to go with it :) So she put on her Christmas sweater and skirt and headband from Grandma F.
We thought she looked pretty good.
All ready for Christmas Eve.
We came home safely (there's quite a bit of snow out there) and had potato soup (Anna had a few bites, she mostly ate carrots) and cheese and crackers. Then we made cinnamon rolls and egg casserole for breakfast tomorrow. We watched Elf, although Anna only made it about half way through the movie.
Now we're finishing up all that needs to be done before tomorrow and are going to head to bed.
Merry Christmas everyone. We'll update with more pictures tomorrow!
